With the 2015 season having drawn to a close, Red Archer team manager Nikos Evangelidakis looks back on the team's season and what their plans are for 2016.
Official season end at the completion of the Brazilian GP found the Cretan team retaining a well fought P5 at constructors championship. Of course the main target of the season was not reached, (P4 of 2014 or better) but considering that Red Archer had to deal with too many drivers changes and the fact that the final points result is much better than the 2014, allows their team manager to feel satisfied with the work done throughout the season, with the team already look forward to 2016.

Turning the page of 2015, manager Evangelidakis meets new challenges even before the 2016 pre-season start. The team has already declared interest to renew its contract with GPVWC Superleague championship, a championship which is expected to run on the rFactor 2 platform, meaning brand new physics and possibly Research and Development system.

This season brought up too many problems from frequent drivers changes. Deividas Misiulis, Dovydas Petravicius, Ben Horrill, Tommy Hagen, Fran Lopez, Jason Muscat, Lars Brugman and Tobias Olsson drove the black/red car for at least one race while five of them scored at least one point. The final amount of points is not bad at all, but changing drivers did not only cost extra funds to the team but also caused arrhythmia to team focus for the coming races. For 2016 Red Archer will try to renew its contract with 16 years old Fran Lopez, who scored most of the points for the team giving some very special performances like the race win at Turkey and the podium finish at Japan.

The other seat is still open, it can be filled by anyone that has the ability to bring an average car to top 10 of most of the races. Young or old, GPVWC rookie or not, the Red Archer driver must also be able to cooperate, be available for the events, for team practice and last but not least must respect the racing regulations and sportsmanship.

With the hope that the team will not face such problems again next season, Red Archer is looking forward for a 2016 season full of fun and joy for team members and the community.
