Ice Cold Racing have announced their 2016 Career Ladder lineup, competing for the first time in the Supercup Series after their victory in the 2015 Formula Challenge Championship.

After a massively successful 2015 season for Ice Cold Racing, winning both the drivers' and Team's championships in two of the three series entered, the team is now focused on the 2016 season at GPVWC. As a result of the Team's title in the 2015 Formula Challenge, Ice Cold Racing was promoted to Supercup for the 2016 season and is ready to take on the battle in this new challenge. Entering the Supercup Series for the first time in the team's career, expectations are set on par with the team's past season at the GPVWC, but all this will do is encourage the team to drive like the wind!

The first driver will be Ice Cold Racing's team manager of Ice Cold Racing, Eric Stranne. After numerous wins and 2 driver's championships in 2015, the pressure is on to perform well in the 2016 season.

"I'm really excited about being promoted to Supercup for this year, and I think it's going to be very exciting to see where everyone is in terms of pace at Melbourne in a few months time." said Stranne, "Moving away from rFactor 1 and onto rFactor 2 will definitely bring with it new challenges and aspects of racing to take into consideration, and I think this move will up the quality of racing at GPVWC; not just in Supercup but the league in general. The competition seems very strong this season so we will have to work really hard if we're going to be fighting for the top spots in the results, which obviously is our goal."

The second of the two drivers will be fellow Swede Tobias Olsson. Having scored a few wins, pole positions and fastest laps in 2015 in the Formula Challenge as well as the ITC, he will represent one of the two Ice Cold Racing cars to be seen on the grid next season. After a lot of off-season testing with Stranne in numerous different cars, he is ready to take on the other car next season.

"I'm really glad that I've gotten this opportunity to drive for Ice Cold Racing in 2016." said Olsson, "I'm excited that the team has an all-Swedish driver line-up and I, together with Eric, have high goals set already for 2016."
