With the start of the new season this weekend now almost within touching distance, Epic Racing have announced their driver lineup for the 2016 Masters Series.

Epic Racing are due to make their debut in the returning Masters Series this weekend, the series making it's comeback after a year on the sidelines with the mighty Audi TT, involving an exciting push to pass system. Team Manager Lee Davidson has confirmed who will be driving the number four and five machines for Epic to kick off their 2016 campaign.

"For the Masters, we have looked to within our existing talent pool in order to sharpen our talent up after the winter break. With the line up we have, I'm confident we can hold our heads high come the end of January and complete a competitive series in exactly that manner. The driver who will be competing in the number four entry is Briton James Ross. James competed with us last year in both the World Sports Series and the International Touring Cup and so is no stranger to racing tin tops with us. He brings with him a hunger to compete with the very best and soak in all the experience he can get."

"Partnering James will be Frenchman Geoffrey Fournier, who will compete in the number five entry. Geoffrey is going to really make a name for himself in 2016 and so I'm thankful that we are once again able to secure his services for a series. His performances in ITC last season put him in good stead to go on the attack in the Masters, I'm excited to see how the season pans out for him."

Davidson then touched on his expectations for the series.

"It's definitely going to be exciting! I can't wait to see the grid line up as the liveries released so far are some of the best I've seen in GPVWC. Add in the Push to Pass system and I really think there could be a high number of potential winners, I can only hope our drivers will be included in those battles!"

The first round takes place at the team's home track of Silverstone this Sunday, 3rd of January.
