January 22, 2016

Off the back of the depths of winter and uncertainty across the team and the league, there is light. It is with great pleasure that we announce our 2016 driver line-up.
Returning to the team after various stints will be Tom Parker in the #7 car. Parker is a long standing veteran of the league and has always had his "neck" on the line when it comes to performing. With a fully committed drive behind him we have full belief in the Englishman. Parker has demonstrated on numerous occasions his depth of talent and just what he can do, including the infamous 2014 Hungarian Grand Prix where victory was cruelly snatched from him after a disconnection. Parker has shown he is capable of running at the front and we have more than enough confidence he can make that, literal, drive towards the podium. We believe Parker now has all the right tools to embark on a title challenge.

In the second car is not only a new comer to the league but also a new comer to the team. Rudy van Buren has signed to the #25 and will take on the GPVWC competition for the first time. Rudy is a rookie to the series but not to sim racing. Rudy has been known to the team for many years after various stints within FSR. After a few years of racing elsewhere along with real life racing commitments Rudy joins the team and the series as one of the most talented drivers in the field. His knowledge of rF2 is a huge plus but speed is key. Throughout the winter Rudy has shown what he can and could do but also the potential of what can be achieved. We are thrilled to have signed the Dutchman and think he can be fighting for podiums from the start.

Finally, our reserve driver will be me, Nick Rowland. I will be back in the car to help develop it for the team but also and crucially help develop the engine along with our partners. I have dropped back to a reserve role simply due to time but also endeavours in other areas. It is great to be a part of the community and look forward to learning rF2 week-on-week.

This is the first time in a long while that the team has gone beyond the small group of drivers we have been able to utilise. In an era of change of the league we also felt it was time for a change. In doing so we have given a full season opportunity to a driver that has been on the cusp for a long time and a driver that has speed, knowledge and experience. We believe both drivers can fight for the 2016 GPVWC drivers' title.

Bring on Melbourne!
