The GPVWC Administration announced a test for young drivers will take place at Interlagos, the venue of the final Superleague race of the season, on November 24th.
The traditional end-of-season test session is an opportunity for young drivers to show their talent in Superleague machinery, with teams allowed to field up to three cars and the focus firmly on non-regular drivers. With plenty of skills demonstrated in Supercup and Formula Challenge throughout the year, there are many exciting names ready to come to the fore, with a view of finding a seat for the 2017 season.

Details of the test are as follows:

- Only current Superleague teams may field cars

- Each team may field up to three cars
-- To be eligible, drivers must have competed in four or less Superleague races during the 2016 season.

- Driver contracts are not applicable for this test
-- This test gives drivers an opportunity to 'try out' for their new teams - assuming that they meet the eligibility criteria. Eligible drivers can test for teams even if they are or have been signed up to others during 2016.

- This is not a mandatory test, if you choose not to participate, you do not lose or gain anything
-- There are no RD points to be earned during this test, nor are there any financial costs. The test is 100% free.

- How many laps you do, whether they are timed or not, does not matter
-- What you do over the course of the test is up to you. As there are no RD points to be earned, timed laps to be completed or finances to be concerned about, you are free to do as you wish. Whether that be hotlapping, race stints or just trying out the Superleague machinery, it's up to you. All we ask is that you treat this an official session, and behave sensibly on track - after all, team managers will well be watching.

- The test will run on the 24th November, beginning at 19:00 and running until approximately 21:00.
