The new Formula Challenge outfit reveals its line up as they go for a mix of new faces and established GPVWC drivers for their return to the Career Ladder.

It is with great pleasure that we can now announce The Mighty Forth driver line up for the 2017 Formula Challenge championship. The primary drivers will be Mark Breslin, a new addition to GPVWC, but a very experienced and capable driver, and Paul Joseph, the team's manager, looking to build a solid platform for the team's future over the coming season. The reserve driver will be GPVWC stalwart, Christoph Lichtenstein.

Team Manager and driver Paul Joseph had this to say about the announcement, It is a real pleasure to be part of Formula Challenge again after a couple of seasons away and I know that my new team mates, Mark and Christoph, are eager to get started as well. I've driven with Mark at Race Department over the last year and I'm really looking forward to see how he fares in the highly competitive season ahead. Christoph has been around for a number of years at GPVWC and I've always enjoyed driving with him on track. His vast experience will be a massive bonus for the team. I won't be looking for miracles with this being our first season in the Career Ladder, but I'll be delighted if we can cause the odd surprise and build up a reasonable points tally.

Mark said," Having been invited to drive here for the Mighty Forth Team I was only too pleased to accept the offer after looking into this friendly and professionally run club. Being more mature in years, my experience in sim racing started with sims that included Grand Prix 2, 3 & 4, GPL, GTR2 and NetKar, to the more recent AC, AMS and of course RF2. I'm very much looking forward to being part of the community and doing my best to have The Mighty Forth team name 'up in lights'... or at the very least, be able to keep my car on the black stuff!!!"

Christoph said, "Paul has been a good partner to race with and against in the Open Series last year and it will be nice to help him and The Mighty Forth in the upcoming Formula Challenge championship. It was my own personal decision to race as a reserve driver this season, but I am already looking forward to the races which I will be taking part in."

We're looking forward to the season ahead and we wish all our fellow competitors and teams in Formula Challenge the very best of luck!
