The Superleague debutants announced their first ever top-flight driver pairing, with some big hitters lining up for the Australian team.

Streetfighter Racing Systems is pleased to announce their primary drivers for their debut in the top tier of the GPVWC Career Ladder. The team will be bringing the Supercup race winning David Francic up with them, as well as adding the experienced Ben Horrill to the team. Team principal William Tringas had the following to say in regards to the upcoming Superleague season;

"I'm ecstatic to be able to bring David up to the top tier with us and have a bit of continuity coming into the big league. It was a bit daunting entering the Superleague and having to learn the ropes but having some stability there is much appreciated, not to mention David's strong results in his Superleague cameos last season.

I'm also very pleased to welcome Ben Horrill to the team, his experience in the Superleague will be invaluable to the team as it seeks to establish itself in the top tier. His knowledge of the car and committment to getting it right have already shone through.

From my side of things, I'm hoping to get up to speed as quickly as possible and give these guys the best car I can so that they can achieve the results I know they are capable of.

I'd also like to thank Risto Kappet for his efforts in the 2016 Supercup season. We wish him the best of luck for 2017"

Ben Horrill:
"I'm excited to join Streetfighter in their first Superleague season. It's a big moment for them and it's great being able to be a part of it.

2017 will be my 3rd full season in superleague and after spending 2015 and 2016 with Green stripes I felt I needed a new challenge and the offer I received from William interested me and I'm hopeful of a good year this season working alongside some great people."

David Francic:
"I'm thrilled to continue my openwheel journey with Streetfighter, but this time in Superleague. Ben is good at making setups so from that point there shouldnt be any problems. It's gonna be a great challenge to do my first full Superleague season and I believe we'll be competitive from the start."
