The GPVWC Management are pleased to announce the launch of the 2017 World GT Championship, one of the independent series that will take place this season.
Entries for teams are now open, with a full complement of GT3 cars to choose from.

The provisional calendar, featuring eight rounds, is as follows:
Fuji
Interlagos
Imola
Paul Ricard
Nurburgring (GP Course)
Spa-Francorchamps
Brands Hatch (GP Course)
Daytona (Road Course)

The series will use the GT3 WORLD SERIES mod by Simtek featuring the following cars: Mercedes AMG GT3, Chevrolet Camaro, McLaren 650S, Lamborghini Huracan, Bentley Continental, Ferrari 488.

With the conclusion of the World Sport Series, the World GT will switch to a sprint style format closer to that used in the defunct series, including two 30-minute races, weight penalties and partial reverse grids for Race 2.

Team entries open today, 20th February 2017, and will remain open until Saturday 4th March. Teams will be required to choose a preferred vehicle upon submitting their interest.

The World GT starts on Thursday, March 16th.
