Double points finish for the Greek outfit a wet China GP

With the season coming to its 3rd round at China, Red Archer was paying for one more season a main driver loss that forced the call of reserve driver Muscat so early in season.

On the other hand the pleasant surprise of the year, the driver who joined the team the last minute but proved more capable than too many others that drove this car in the past, Thomas Hinss, drove once more for the Greek team with only purpose to keep doing what he had already done at Melbourne and Sochi . . . points !!

The car not in good condition carrying no upgrades and with a heavily used engine could not promise too much.

Furthermore the unstable weather forecast was troubling a lot the drivers with car setup and driving and in race day it was pretty obvious that the first wet event of the season would be delivered.

Jason Muscat and Thomas Hinss however were determined to fight !!

The bad qualifying and a troubling race start did not indicate the final result. The "reds" drove a solid race, fighting all the obstacles that came to their way with tyres and power management lead the team to double points again and a decent race end at P14 for Jason and P11 for Thomas climbing one step to the standings.

With Valencia and Austria coming the team focuses on 2 things now:

1) Adequate replacement of the empty race seat

2) Optimal car upgrade

For the first target manager Evangelidakis bought time for the team bringing the French driver Geoffrey Fournier for a 1 month emergency while he already showed skills getting at the top of China's test session with max timed laps and he will pair Thomas Hinss at Spain and Austria.
