After two seasons in Supercup, coming third in last year`'s championship, the German-based Evolution Motorsports is finally taking the big step up the ladder, moving to Superleague for the 2018 season.

After successfully having secured Valiant engines earlier this year, the team has now announced their driver line-up for the season and also showed off their car livery -once again done done by Gerdoner Designs - ahead of the first pre-season test in Bahrain.

Dennis Jordan is filling the seat number 17 and is going to be partnered by GPVWC veteran Tom Parker in the #18 car.
"It seems like there could not have been a better time to move up - the talent throughout the field has risen once again, the organisation is improving further and further, and we got wonderful cars to drive this year," Jordan told the press during the teams launch.

"Being joined by Tom is great, as he not only got great pace but also tons of experience in GPVWC and Superleague. We know that we are a new team, but I don't think we need to hide ourselves and can aim for big success right away."

Parker added: "It's awesome to be joining Dennis and Evolution on their journey into Superleague. I know that with both mine and Dennis's knowledge of the series and car we will be able to fight to at least the best of the newbies and to aim even higher after that!"

It is also Parker's first full-time seat since 2016, having served as Vodbul (now ACR Zakspeed) test as reserve driver in 2017: "I've not been this pumped in years for a Superleague season with the talent seen so far so we will have to be top of our game but I know we can do it!"

Pre Season testing duties are fulfilled by Tobias Polotzek, multiple Supercup race winner of last year for the team, with the permanent test driver for the remainder of the season yet to be announced.
