JAPANESE GRAND PRIX
Suzuka International Racing Course. 25 September 2018
February 04, 2018

All the GPVWC press traveled to Malta's capital city Valletta where team principal Terence Grech had scheduled a press conference. The press conference started at 18:00 and the first to be interviewed was the owner himself.

Terence Grech: "Today I'm confirming an exciting new driver pair in Patryk Gerber and Mike Kwint. Both showed great speed and skill in last year's Formula Challenge series and after a long negotiation period, we came to an agreement with these two drivers. I also want to thank both my former drivers Borja Millan and Edgar Ruiz who did an amazing job in 2017. Borja will jump to Superleague now which is something I admire a lot and I wish him the best for the future. I also want to thank Edgar for all the effort he put in the team. Getting back on our 2018 campaign, TG Racing is an ambitious team and we hope to be in the top 5 of the team championship again. With this driver pairing we should be able to do that."

After Grech was interviewed it was time to get a quote for the 2018 drivers.

#69 Patryk Gerber
"I am really looking forward to drive for TG Racing. Terence has seen my potential from the beginning of my career in GPVWC so I am glad to have a chance to represent his team. I think me and Mike can fight for best positions this season and I hope the battle will be tight."

#40 Mike Kwint
"I'm very happy to drive for TG Racing in Supercup this season. This is a new challenge for me and I am more prepared than ever to start racing. With Patryk we have got a very strong team and I hope we can work together very well. My main objective is to score points at least every race and hopefully get some really good results now and then. After all it's all about being there at the right moment at the right time. I am expecting some good battles throughout the season and a lot of fair but competitive racing. I will need to wait and see how it goes before I draw any big targets for myself."

For a final quote we went back to Terence Grech, who said that preparation for the first round was going well and that the official 2018 car livery will be released in a couple of days.
