The Polish superstar left nothing to his rivals in the Baku double-header and extended his lead in the drivers' championship.
An inspired performance by Maciej Mlynek saw the Polish driver of Scuderia Basilea claim a double win, with the gaps involved enough for his championship rivals to worry.

Lewis Redshaw shone in qualifying, hauling his Draig in front of Stephane Rouault and teammate Antonio Hreljanovic, but the Englishman had no reply to Mlynek, who started in eighth place but finished 22s up the road from Redshaw. Green Stripes' Bence Szupanek was third.

Mlynek's domination extended in race two where, starting in P9 in the inverted grid, he went on to build a 17s gap over Daniel Brewer, with Roy Schroten completing the podium.

This finishing order reflects the drivers' championship, with 22 points enclosing the top three. Rouault's double DNF sees him slip down to fourth.

Scuderia Basilea is running away with the title - their lead over Clay Geeli now 63 points after just three rounds. Can anyone stop the Swiss steamroller?
