Rowen GP enter a new era in 2019 as they hedge their bets in GPVWC Supercup championship.

A team which has previously been a part of the GPVWC International Touring Cup and World GT programs, Supercup provides a brand new challenge for the team.

With the team comes two touring car aces, a challenge for both drivers to get to grips with the fast paced, openwheeler action of the career ladders third tier. Lewis McGlade joins the team after a two year full time hiatus from Career Ladder action, he did return for one round at Baku for YTF1 in 2018. The previous Supercup podium sitter has since gone on to win touring car categories in V8 Supercars and in the BVTCC, and has notched up a further two wins to his International Touring Cup profile.

Joining him is BVTCC competitor Mike Cooper, a fairly unknown quantity in Open Wheelers, however has race previously in the second division of the International Touring Cup. In that he took three wins from six races. In his campaign in the BVTCC he took three poles and seven podiums over his campaign showing incredible speed at times.

As a line up there may well be some inexperience in open wheelers, how strong pace and consistency could yield good results for the team and a solid aim for a top five finish in the teams is the goal for the 2019 season.
