Shift Gear Racing announces 2019 driver line-up ahead of the 2019 GPVWC SimRacing Supercup season, including the unveiling of the SGR-SC002.

Shift Gear Racing is proud to announce that Ross Woodford (ENG) and Christopher Rabey (ENG) will drive for the team in the 2019 campaign. Team Owner and Primary driver Christopher Rabey is optimistic for the season;

"We had a good season last year, a lot of work went into getting promoted and securing a few podiums, we got some race wins as well which is great and I'm really happy for that, but now the challenge starts and we need to be on our best form for the start of the season. We need to hit the ground running.

After being away from sim racing on a driving perspective for almost 12 months, its good to be back behind the wheel, hopefully me and Ross can spring a few surprises in 2019.

I'm glad to have Ross by my side, he was a great help last year and was really the best option in the driver market for 2019"

Ross Woodford is no stranger to GPVWC and Shift Gear Racing;

"I'm really excited on the move into Supercup for this season, the car has a bit more power and downforce than the Formula Challenge car last year, so it should be much more fun to chuck around.

Being taken on full time by Shift Gear is a really exciting opportunity too, and Im looking forward to seeing how far up the grid we can get as a team"

Shift Gear Racing also announced that their 2018 Formula Challenge driver; Miguel de Los Rios will be continuing with the team for 2019 as Test and Reserve driver.

The first test for GPVWC Supercup is on Tuesday 26th February at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit in Mexico.
