Daan Van Renswoude has taken his 3rd consecutive Pole Position, but as in Sepang, he has done so because his team mate was penalised. Mikko Jakonen is continuing his fine form with 2nd spot whilst Argentinean Pablo Arteaga does the same in 3rd.

Position 2 - 10 was covered with less than 1 second!! which promises us a VERY exciting race!

The original Pole Sitter, Pedro Daniel Miguel, was disqualifed after the session was completed. This is beacuse he cut a corner considerably enough for the GPVWC Administrators to question it, and when they sought other opinions [7 in total] they were backed up that the lap was illegal, breaching the Corner Cutting Rules quite considerably.

League Admin, Dan Lawrence, commented "It gives me NO pleasure to disqualify a drivers time, and after lengthy talks with Hernj-Roaldo team management, we retired to our offices to come up with a decent solution. We have decided to, in cases where a driver submits a time that proves illegal, impose a mandatory grid position of P22 with no further penalties. This follows regular F1...60 seconds added in is perhaps not so realistic..." he continued The lap was 100% illegal [on the 1 corner] though and I have sought the opions of 7 other ppl to back me up on this, so no repercussions are expected."
