BA Racing had a very topsy turvy qualifying session for this weekends Brazilian Grand Prix. #1, Dan Lawrence, qualified a respectable 8th while #2, Mal McKee, had problems all through the session and wasn't able to trigger the timing beams around the circuit at all!

Lawrence commented, "I am slightly disappointed with 8th, but in reality I am in a strong position as I think the Hard tyres will give me an advantage over the soft runners in the race. Looking at the times, if I had ran softs I would have been 4th..perhaps even 3rd. I am confident for the race!"

Mal McKee suffered no end of troubles, with his car failing to trigger any of the timing beams! ..He duly appealed his non qualification and was informed he may start the race from P22 due to the circumstance of his problem.
