Reporter: Good afternoon Pedro! Congratulations for your first win the Championship. Please, tell us how was your race weekend in Brazil.

P.D.Miguel: "It started very well. When I went to the track for the first time I understood that I was going fast. It all happened too fast: I was very confident about the car, and the Team's Staff made a great work with the carsetup. So I didn't have to many problems in qualifying conditions. In race conditions, I wasn't so sure about my performance, but I was expecting a good race. ;)"

Reporter: "Yes, Pedro. We have seen that the team's staff is working very hard, from race to race, with the drivers to make the car, the most fast and reliable of the whole GPVWC Paddock! So, the team was a bit disappointed with the Qualifying results?."

P.D.Miguel: "Yes, the team was a bit upset with me, because they gave everything to put me in the firsts positions of the starting grid, and I just screwed everything! When I finish my qualifying session, I went to the pits, and Roald (Team-Manager) told me that I had been DQ, and I just couldn't believe that. It was my second DQ in the last 2 events! After that we saw some replays of my lap, and we decided to protest the GPVWC Administration decision. This was a fast and friendly conversation, in which was decided that I should start form the back of the grid, but with no 60 seconds penalty. It was a good decision, because with this I could have the chance to achieve a good result during the race."

Reporter: And, how did you prepare the race? Maybe this was a hard task for the team, because you had to change all you race strategy?

P.D.Miguel: I think no! ;) From the beginning I thought that 3 stops were the best strategy. The problem was in my race performance: I wasn't sure about my performance in race conditions. During the warm-up the engineers helped me a lot and in the last minutes of the warm-up session, we reached the perfect carsetup. My last lap of the warm-up session was tremendous! I drove this lap in 1m16s0.. The other teams were asking: 'How did he get that?' And some teams thought that this performance was only possible with a low amount of fuel. But I knew this wasn't true! Now I just needed to keep this performance during the race."

Reporter: So, tell us. How was your race?

P.D.Miguel: "The first laps were great, I could overtake the CC´s very fast. This way I knew that I wasn't loosing too much time to the front race drivers. In the beginning of the 2nd lap I was in the back of Daan´s CC, which was in the 1st place. I overtook him, and after that, it was controlling the race. It seems so simply! I was with a 3 stop strategy, so I went for the first time into the pits during the number 19 and again during the lap 37. The car was ok, but in the lap 36, I made a mistake while I was overtaking a CC´s: I reached too close of the back of the CC´s and suddenly the car lost grip and I went to the gravel. Until the end, I simply control the running of the car. I went for the last time in the pits at lap 55, and I couldn't avoid a spin in lap 70. And, 2 laps after that I finish the Brazilian Grand Prix. I wasn't expecting to win! I started the race from the back of the grid, and the race wasn't perfect. But it was a great win, and also very surprising."

Reporter: After your first win, how do you see the Championships at this stage?

P.D.Miguel: "It's a bit soon to talk about that. We just finished 3 events. There are lots of points to win until the end of the season, but we have a great car and we have all the chances to win the Constructors Championship and of course Daan and me can get the Drivers Championship. But it's difficult to talk about that right know, because we need to work a lot during the season. Basically we need as soon as possible to improve the car reliability, because this is our major problem at the moment! ;) But I would like to congratulate the MCR Team for the good results in the last 2 events: Great Work!"

Reporter: OK Pedro, thank you for this interview. I also take this opportunity to wish you all the luck for the rest of the season, and to make you one last question: How about Imola: what are your objectives for the next event?

P.D.Miguel: "Well, to be honest I've never drove there before, so this will be my first time in Imola. So, I will try to adapt my driving style to this track as fast as possible and try to make my best during both sessions. (Qualifying and Race) I think it's not an easy track, but it's the same track for all drivers! I want to wish good luck to all drivers and Teams. See you in Imola!"
