The GPVWC Administration has responded to the recent situation involving the MaMa Racing Team and it's former driver, Erdem Coban & Leon Verheggen.

GPVWC Admin, Dan Lawrence, had the following to say just moments ago, "I am fully aware of the situation at hand and now have both sides of the stroy available to me. From my point of view, there seems to be no person in the right, and no person in the wrong...it all seems to be 50/50 and it is a shame that such a dispute has happened, let alone get this far. I am working with Luc and Erdem at the moment, trying to get the best compromise possible so that we can resolve the situation and get back to the business we are all here for in the first place - RACING!"

The whole situation arose after Verheggen was fired from the team [though he says he quit], this was then closely followed by the resignation of Coban. Both sides have argued constantly for the last week and matters have only got worse. All in all it has turned into a public slanging match with all concerned airing their 'highly charged' views through the Press.

The situation looks like reaching it's end now though, as Lawrence attempts to build the bridges and help Coban, Verheggen and MaMa Racing reach a compromise which will allow everyone to carry on.
