BA Racing's number 2 driver arrived in San Marino this morning after having picked up 5th in the F-3000 championship yesterday.

"I'm eager to get onto the track, even though I'm a bit tired and jet-lagged. I hate to be arriving so late, but I'm happy with my 5th placing in the F-3000. I'm pretty confident that 4th place would have been possible, but I wasn't completely satisfied with the car setup. I went into the gravel twice as a result of the oversteer and possibly the tyre choice."

McKee also had a few words to say about his first F1 result, before he headed to his hotel for some much needed rest.

"Again, I think an improvement of a couple of places would have been possible, but I'm happy to have secured a couple of points in my first race for BA Racing. I feel good about the car, especially the engine. I hope the team can help me with a good setup to tweak as much performance from the engine as possible."

When pressed about his expectations in Imola, he muttered something about needing some sleep.

"Ask me later," he said, "I think its going to be more of a challenge. Especially because I'm arriving so late."
