Dublin driver Kieran Ryan took time to analyse the season he's been sharing with his team so far.

"To date we've had a front row and 2 podiums despite the odds stacked against us. Comparing the engines in the field, we've a quite an underpowered Honda unit, but hopefully the new engine that they've promised us will arrive in due time for Spain.

The current Honda unit is one of the slowest. We rank about 4th last in terms of power and about 60hp off BMW and Ferrari and yet through a good car, and good work between Mikko and myself, we've managed to get 3rd equal in the championship with MCR Mercedes.

Unfortunately you can only dream to have BMW or Ferrari at the moment and to wonder what performance we could get out of those engines.

Honda have promised us a new version, more faster and more compact which hopefully should give myself and Mikko a push even more up to the top and maybe soon, to challange for the pole or victory but only time will tell".
