Daan Van Renswoude has taken his 2nd win of the season, his 1st since the season opener at Australia nearly 2 months ago. The Dutchman was pushed very hard by Mapes-VO's Mikko Jakonen who finished just 11 seconds behind in 2nd. Dan Lawrence stormed his way from 7th on the grid, to finish in the last podium spot in 3rd.

Mapes-VO had 2 cars in the top 6, with Kieran Ryan putting in another strong run to finish 4th.

GPVWC rookie, Andy Graydon, showed he is a star of the future by finishing 5th in his 1st Grand Prix.

Blair Disley was the 1st driver to be lapped, as he pushed the maximum out of his lowly powered Asiatech engine, to finish in the top 6, his 1st points since Brazil.

Andrew Turner showed none of his early season form, finishing a lack lustre 7th and lapping 1 second off the pace of the front runners.

Darren White salvaged 'something' from his appaling grid spot, by taking 8th place. He gained this position by default however as James Davidson was given a 60 second penalty as a result of submitting an illegal qualifying lap.

Martin Ortiz finished 9th for Stealth GP, although he was also penalised 60 seconds for failing to submit the required amount of hotlaps.

William Ponissi has done it at last! The Irish born driver has scored a World Championship point in the appaling TGM-Ford. Rumours of him taking over the team may not be so wide from the mark after all?
