While the Hernj-Roaldo BMW team seems to be untouchable, the battle for second place in the constructors championship race seems to be heating up.

Mapes-VO have come on very strong after a slow start to the year, and they currently have two very talented drivers in place. But not to be outdone, MCR have also vowed to return to easy season form, and boast one of the strongest duos on the grid with Andrew Turner and Andy Graydon.

KRB has fallen into turmoil lately, but claim to have regained form under new management. Meanwhile, Jonk GP are always a threat with Ferarri engines as well. However, they've been a disapointment thus far, to say the least.

SCUM, CVRT, and BA Racing have shown flashes of potential thus far, but neither seems poised to take over the coveted second place.

That's the view from MCR headquarters as the F1 circus proceeds to Silverstone for testing.
