Erdem Coban once again showed that he's the form F3000 driver at this stage of the season.

In another race with a disappointingly low turnout Coban again got the upper hand on his nemesis, Dan Lawrence, by beating him by almost 10 seconds. Regan was a similar distance behind Lawrence and De Schutter and Filipe had a very close battle for 4th position, both drivers having a drive thru penalty imposed on them for breaches of the rules.

It's understood Harding was unable to race due to a computer malfunction that could not be repaired in time for the race. It appears newcomer Stefen Gordon was scared off by the quick qualifying laps of Coban and Lawrence and was nowhere to be seen on race day.

The top 3 positions in the championship remain the same but have tightened considerably. Robert Filipe jumped 2 positions to sit in 4th place.

It's believed the F3000 calender will be changed somewhat in an attempt to entice more people to the races, a move that should please Lawrence and Regan as thier plates are currentlly fairly full considering they race in both leagues and manage teams as well as their test driving and adminastrative duties.
