Panasonic Stealth-Honda capped off it's strong run this week with 3rd and 7th place finishes at the Canadian Grand Prix. The race was the team's home event and was capped with their first ever podium placing. Before their home fans and a large party of sponsors (and potential sponsors), Stealth celebrated its most successful week of the season.

"A truly fabulous result!" stated Team Principal Ted Cragg. "Exactly what we were looking for. The team needed this boost and everyone came through. We thus re-assert ourselves as a legitimate challenger for a top 5 position, and the only way to go is up" he said.

Further comments are soon expected from car #14 driver Joe Consiglio and car #15 interim driver Erdem Coban. Consiglio maintained his excellent form from qualifying, starting 3rd and bringing the car home in the same spot. Coban moved up one position, having started 8th. Both drivers used three stop strategies.

It is thus on to the Nurburgring for Panasonic Stealth-Honda, as the team looks to continue its run of points and its climb up the standings. Stealth has now scored 53 Constructors points this year, with 42 of those coming since Stealth Grand Prix took over in April. Joe Consiglio has reached 35 points scored, with Erdem Coban 32.
