We had heard that Robert would be driving James Davidson's car at the European Grand Prix, so we took the opportunity to ask him a few questions.

"I'm replacing James in europe, because he had some unavoidable business to take care of, back home", said Robert when asked about nurburgring, "The car has been behaving well, and since it's not a technical track, our engine should have some say in the outcome of the race."

When we mentioned Gene a smile showed up, "We have a great group working in the pits. Both James and Gene are very competent drivers, and even though I don't speak italian we are all getting along with Gene."

Malisani had said that the past result was a disappointment, an opinion that Robert doesn't completely agree with, "Well after the qualifying session we were hoping to get a good finish. I tried to help out as much as I could, driving a few runs to get a reliable setup for the race, but things didn't turn out that way. It was a bad outcome, but the work developed for that race will come out sooner or later, so we can't be disappointed."

"I'm sure Gene and I will be able to earn our team some extra cash and points, after all that's what really counts". And as Robert returned to the motorhome, we could see that the once very well humured driver, was now a bit stern. What could be on his mind?
