Early Sim-Racing Career
+
Wiesenmueller's simracing career began back in 2006 on Race - The WTCC Game. He drove for the Dutch Roaring Pipes Maniacs team. After some success and some years without simracing, Robert came to TouringProSeries in 2012. In June 2012 he joined THR, and since then he has won 5 races and the title in the Virtual Mini Challenge. Other successes include the 2012 F3 and 2013 Mini Cooper title in the french community SRE as well as a win in the 24 Hours of Le Mans at Racedepartment, alongside David Jundt.

Formula Challenge
+
Wiesenmueller tested the Formula Challenge car pre-season with Ice Cold Racing but he didn't like it.

+
2013
+
Wiesenmueller joined last minute in Monaco, installing the mod 30 minutes before qualifying, replacing Erik Tveit. The first race was a big success with a 5th place, until in the second race a lagging car took all his chances. He was not seen again until Spa-Francorchamps, where he joined with 1 minute to go in qualifying and still started ahead of Ron Squire. His final run of the season was in Magny-Cours, until problems between his teammate Mike Bell and the Ice Cold Racing team directors caused the team to pull out.

Supercup
Mike Bell told Wiesenmueller that he would be better than him in formula cars, causing Wiesenmueller to sign up as a last minute replacement.

+
2013
+
Wiesenmueller joined PB Racing or whatever the name of that team was for the Abu Dhabi round. He was pretty slow but still beat Mike Bell with a legendary 14th place finish.
+

+
Masters
+
Mike Bell told Wiesenmueller that rFactor 2 is awesome and that he (Bell) was one of the greatest in the Meganes, causing Wiesenmueller to sign up as a last minute replacement.

+
2013
+
Wiesenmueller joined Edonis Engineering for the Sebring race. Despite bad qualifying he beat Mike Bell, finishing in a respectable 4th place. A 5th followed in the next race, until he smashed off Philip Morby in a rage move in race 3. For reasons unknown Wiesenmueller was back in the Symmons Plains round, qualifying 4th. He finished 2nd in the first race, then crashed with Oscar Hardwick while battling for the lead in the second race, before winning the season final.
