Georgios Davakos (born 18 August 1994 in Athens, Greece) is a sim-racer just like many other people. Found a passion for motor racing in a very young and and it developed in to a passion for sim-racing when he was firstly introduced to Grand Turismo 3 for the Playstation 2.

[hide]2009 - Where it all started
Georgios started his competitive sim-racing career in a league called American F3000 Grand Prix Championship driving the Formula 3000 from Race 07, a game that was published by Simbin. Despite that he was thrown in to a very competitive field Georgios managed to score a couple of points and gain a lot of experience that would be carried over to the next league he joined, Formula Pro World Championship.
2009 would turn out to be a year to gain experience and fine tune all acquired knowledge from American F3000 Grand Prix Championship to Formula Pro World Championship.
2010, 2011 - Searching for the right path
Through out 2010 and 2011 Georgios would find himself joining a countless amount of leagues to learn and improve him driving. He signed up for touring car leagues like the RaceDepartment Touring Car Championship, Open Wheel leagues such as Formula Pro World Championship (season 3,4,5), GPVWC Supercup, FSR World Trophy and Sim Racing Pro International Formula Masters. He did also sign up for endurance and GT leagues such as the RaceDepartment Le Mans series and the RaceDepartment GT Series.
The goal for the young Greek was not to win championships or make a name for himself, it was all about racing against other drivers and learning as much as he possibly could about how to improve his pace.
2012 - A year of disappointments
After 3 years of competitive sim-racing, Georgios started to see some improvements in his pace. He was faster, more consistent and knew a lot more about setting up a car then he had ever known but his luck was not to be found as he was constantly facing technical issue. All that would then be followed by lack of consistency on the track as he wasn't able to finish a single race driving for Woods Racing.
