The deadline for declaring interest in competing in the 2001 GPVWC season has passed. No further applications will be accepted.

I have been pleasantly surprised by the amount of applications received. With 41 Drivers and 15 teams applying to compete in the second championship season. Only 22 drivers and 11 teams will make it however.

The next major events for Team Managers:

29th December 2000 - Budget for 2001 to be announced - bonuses from 2000 announced

Details: The full budget that will be given to teams for 2001 will be announced. Also all bonuses that each team has earnt through the 2000 season will be anounced and credited to each team.

1st January 2001 - Complete 2001 rules will be sent out to team managers.

3rd January 2001 - Complete contract deal lists will be sent out to Team managers

13th-15th January 2001 - Testing at Catalunya - Spain

The GPVWC will then take the data logged from both test sessions (at Silverstone and Catalunya) to give each driver a rating and price value.
