A-Racing would like to confirm the driver line up for next season.

Richard Dickson will be staying with the team for the 2001 season after leading them to the Constructor's Championship last season. The rumours that Richard had already signed a pre-contractual deal at the end of the 2000 season were proven to be true.

Richard commented, "This hasn't really got anything to do with the fact that my brother runs the team, it's more to do with the fact that last season A-Racing became the most succesful team through sheer consistency, and offered the best car for the 2001 season. We can expect to have quite a good chance at both championships again this season after signing Christian to the team and I am hoping that he can help us to continue in the form that myself and Chris had last season. There are no orders in the team as Christian and I will be equal number one's next season due to our roughly equal pace."

Christian Neumann was stunning in the Silverstone test session, A-Racing's home circuit, and he was immmediately offered drives by most of the GPVWC teams. Rather than jumping for the first one that came along however, Christian figured out which team he would most likely have the best chance with and approached A-Racing about the drive. We were more than delighted by this since we realised that even if Chris Connolly had have been available next season, he would probably have been beyond our budget. Christian decided that the team looked very strong with one fast driver being signed very early on and A-Racing are now looking very strong to challenge for both championships this season.
