DPI-Cosworth are pleased to announce that Andrew and Richard Dickson have agreed to compete for the team in the GPVWC's 2001 Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos in April.

It's an historic announcement as two brothers have never driven in the same team in F1. If the brothers do well they could replace former lead driver Tim Green who resigned on Friday night and DPI's current number 2 Alan Wilson who failed to qualify for the Malaysian Grand Prix but who is expected to resume normal service at the San Marino Grand Prix.

Dan Prescott - Team Manager

"This is a great moment for Dan Prescott International and Cosworth signing two excellent drivers who are well known and well respected throughout the GPVWC paddock. The team is looking forward to Brazil where it hopes to give its new, although currently one off recruits, the chance to compete for points."

Andrew Dickson - Driver

"I am delighted to be part of the DPI team. After deciding to quit the A-Racing team from the GPVWC, I soon decided that I would be interested in becoming a driver. I was initially going to be a test driver, but realising there was a free seat available at DPI, I asked Dan Prescott whether he would give me a "trial" race. Dan agreed to my delight and depending on my performance in Brazil, it could be a permanent seat. I am really looking forward to the race in Brazil."

Richard Dickson - Driver

"I am very pleased to announce a one off race deal with the DPI-Cosworth team to help them at this very difficult period in time! I have decided to race for DPI at Interlagos due to the fact that basically I was unsure of the situation at CVRT. As yet I do not know whether or not Darren White will be driving at Brazil, and Dan Prescott needed a decision pretty much instantly. Another factor in my decision was that my brother will also be racing for DPI and I couldn't resist the opportunity for the first brother partnership in a GPVWC race! As to my future with DPI, I am unsure, Brazil is not my favourite track and it will certainly be a challenge with a new up and coming team, and who knows what the future may hold!"
