10th February 2009. Mark this day on your calendars - as it's the day history of GPVWC will be made. On Tuesday, dozens of drivers will take to the track in the first ever official online session in the league.

The occasion is the Open GPVWC test, to be staged at the Arctic Circle Raceway, in the Norwegian locality of Mo i Rana. All drivers, regardeless of their contract status, will drive in GPVWC Test cars. Unattached drivers will make the most out of this opportunity to showcase their ability to their potential managers, and contracted drivers will have a rare chance at competing in equal machinery.

Drivers have to make sure they have the latest version of the Mod installed (v. 1.3, released on the 8th February 2009). The track is also available from the downloads section. The session is open only to drivers who are in possession of a valid GPVWC Superlicense.

The track will be officially open for four three-hour sessions. Here is a detailed scheduled of the sessions.

Session 1: 12:00 GMT to 15:00 GMT

Session 2: 15:00 GMT to 18:00 GMT

Session 3: 19:00 GMT to 22:00 GMT

Session 4: 22:00 GMT to 01:00 GMT

The GPVWC Administration hopes to see as many drivers as possible taking part in the sessions, and wishes good luck to everyone involved.
