New faces in the GPVWC circus as the Championship arrives in Monaco for Round 6 of the 2009 Superleague: a new, German outfit - Maximum Racing - has been accepted in the league to replace Convex XRX, which had failed to appear in any Grand Prix except for Neil Peter's short-lived Suzuka race.

With most team looking for testers and stand-in drivers able to guarantee 100% attendance in each race, Maximum is rumoured to be hosting a shootout test in which no fewer than 4 drivers are to be competing for the 2 race seats of the Duisburg-based team.

Elsewhere, existing GPVWC teams will be looking to strengthen their ranks; Constant Racing, Ryan McConkey's loan for Woods expired, is actively looking for a driver to partner Mark Stanton in one of the best cars on the league; Platform Michelangelo stuck the deal of the week by signign Irish veteran Kieran Ryan, while also Gear F1 and Evans Blue are reported to be on the lookout for possible signings.
