Woods Racing manager Ollie Woods took some time out today to reflect on a busy 2009 season. This season was the best ever for Woods, taking 2nd in both the Drivers and Constructors Championships, and Ollie was understandably delighted.

"We've always said that we want to be right up with the best of the best, challenging for wins and podiums and championships. I am so proud to have seen us get right up into second this year - of course, I want to go one better next year, but competition was really quite tough. Nordsjoen hardly put a foot wrong all year and then CSG just destroyed everyone and made it difficult for us to get enough points to catch up. Still, I'm delighted with second place!"

Ollie Woods reflected also on the up and downs of an otherwise memorable season: "Obviously the year wasn't perfect - the second driver situation was sticky for most of the year, and meant we were lucky to have two cars scoring points. I fully intend to rectify this for 2010 and have got a star lineup confirmed which I will reveal soon (ie. once contracts have been signed). I would still like to thank everyone who drove for us this year for their amazingness and I look forward to telling you all more about 2010 soon."
