The number of entrants for the forthcoming GPVWC Megane Trophy is set to pass the 20 mark - with just one week to the inaugural race in the technical Ahvenisto track in Finland.

The lure of this winter-time, action-packed series has attracted known Superleague faces like, among others, World Champion Joe Consiglio and former teammate Adam Rouse, Kieran Ryan and Mark Stanton, and a host of new faces who are set to be welcomed warmly to the GPVWC.

Newcomers like Scott Bennett, Tom Parker and Ben Warren might be the series unknowns in terms of pace, but their enthusiasm for the GPVWC has already provided a positive note in the community.

The GPVWC Megane Trophy, which will see its 6-race calendar extend into January, will follow a similar format to this summer's Masters Series, with a sprint and a feature race, and inverted grid in the second showpiece.
