Jernej Simoncic to join Puschke in the Superleague

The Vod:Bul Racing team is having a strong year with its number 1 driver philipp Puschke currently leading the drivers championship by seven points. The team however has struggled to get both cars scoring points this year. After oskari kantonen was unable to race after the forth round of the championship the team has had stand in drivers for the last four races. Reserve driver Douwe Tapper doing two races and supercup championship leader Ruud Heesterbeek filling in two races. Both drivers managing to score some valuable points for the team.
Unfortunately both these drivers have commitments in the supercup so a full time replacement driver was needed.

Today Vod:Bul Racing announced car 15# will be driven for the second half of the season by Jernej Simoncic.
Simoncic was last seen at gpvwc in the 2014 supercup Hungarian gp where we won the race.

"I'm looking forward to racing in SL for the first time. I'm here to get some podiums and hopefully victories to help Philipp at winning the team championship. It will be nice to have him as teammate again after 2 years."

Mike Pitman Vod:Bul Racing manager
"I'm very happy to have been able to finally get jernej in the vb car, he's a great driver and I know will do us proud. It's a shame to have lost oskari from driving but douwe and ruud did good job in helping us carry on with the title challenge. I think with this new line up it is the best on the grid and. Gives us the best chance at the title"

So after getting back to winning ways at Silverstone we look forward to seeing the new line up in action at Austria
