Mike Pitman reflects on the success of the Valiant engine supply as Vod:Bul Racing continue to thrive in Superleague.

After powering Philipp Puschke to the drivers title in their first year as engine manufacturer to the superleague the power unit supplier now works with seven of the teams in the Stormcharge Superleague on their power units in only its second year.

Valiant have powered cars to 3 wins and 9 podiums this season with no reason to think more aren't on the horizon too. The manufacturer is working very closely with all the teams on the supply list to develop the engine into the latter half of the season too.

All the teams have now scored points this season and without an engine failure in sight. The manufacturer supplies the complete spectrum of teams, from Edonis Engineering currently leading the championship down to the teams going through a tough year of rebuilding at the bottom, but those teams they are at least safe in the knowledge that the engine is taken care of by an experienced race winning manufacturer.

The future for Valiant and their teams looks stronger than ever with Martex and Trinity both unable to attract customers this season then the recent news that Potentia will be surprisingly in the hands of the brand new and inexperienced Waulters automotive team after the demise of Midnight Motorsports. A surprise considering Kernow sport (also part of the Potentia supply chain) previously produced the now-defunct Krevder engine line were more likely to have the facilities available to them.

One thing is for sure that Valiant is here to stay, looking forward to a continued strong relationship with all the teams we have the pleasure to work with and want to publicly thank them for the continued data and loyalty they have shown.
