The Test Driver position for Stealth-Honda is still vacant, and Team Manager Ted Cragg confirmed today that the team continues to accept applications.

"We have offered the position to a couple drivers so far, but we haven't confirmed anything yet. As a result, I still greatly encourage any interested drivers to contact me as soon as possible, because this opportunity may not last long."

Stealth recently focused its energies on first recruiting a 2nd driver for the team, and Martin Ortiz was signed to partner Joe Consiglio. But a third driver remains to be found.

Cragg stated that he has "sweetened the deal" by including extra incentives in the job description. "Joe, our #1 driver, will not be able to participate in the upcoming Grand Prix of Monaco, and so I can definitely confirm that any test driver in place by then will be able to race that weekend. This may extend to the Canadian Grand Prix as well. Stealth will also work hard to support our test/reserve driver in their other racing endeavours, including the F3000 series, and can find race drives with one of our other affiliates as well. The test driver's main responsibility will be to anchor the test team every two weeks at the official Test Sessions, and so it is a very important and crucial role that has to be filled."

Applications can be emailed to Stealth-Honda Team Manager Ted Cragg at tedcragg@hotmail.com
