Peter Knif has resigned as assistant Team Manager of the Red Arrows-Ferrari team. He has also terminated his input into the GPVWC website.

The whole argument begun when Knif suspected that Endeans race time (for Britain) was false - and that he had adjusted his the circuits tyre wear levels for the race. This claim however was met by a huge outcry from nearly everyone who was online [within the GPVWC] at the time. The majority of people claimed that Knif was a bad loser and wanted to see him punished or removed from the league.

He commented "I have decided to quit my positions as the assistant manager of Red Arrows Racing and the web designer of the GPVWC. This decision wasn't an easy one but I had to do it. The main reason is that I simply cannot tolerate a few people anymore, such as Jason Endean and Richard Dickson. They are probably p$$$ed off because the competition in this league became tougher with my arrival, so they decided to get rid of me. There are also a few kids, literally kids, who simply are not old enough to be here and I'm tired of dealing with them. I'm sorry but since I arrived in this league all I've wanted is to help Dan create a better competition, not a sandbox for the kids. I've done my best to improve the web site, which I have partially accomplished. A few people have told me that the new web site sucks but I guess I can't just please everyone. Jason Endean has told me tonight that many people in this league hate me. Well, I've never tried to play the role of Mr. Nice Guy. I'm the way I am and if people don't like me, then let them find someone whom they will like. In conclusion, I would like to wish luck to Dan Lawrence and this league. Happy racing!!!".

Dan Lawrence - Championship Manager - commented, "I am sorry to see Peter leave. He has dragged Red Arrows up the grid from their pretty poor opening race results. He was single handedly responsible for bringing Kris Pusaka to this league. I will also miss his input on the website front. I would like to point out that I have always had a very good relationship with him, he has always been willing to help whenever I had problems with the site."
