The 2013 World GT Series is the second season of the previously branded Winter GT Series, the series name change was made to reflect the longer and more varied calendar. Only two events were retained for this season from last; the Belgian GT Cup and the American GT Cup with the latter also retaining its place as the final round on the calender. At the Australian GT Cup, Midnight Motorsport were crowned 2013 Teams' champions with driver Alex Cooper being named Drivers' champion just one round later at the Czech GT Cup.
