The Hungarian Sport Series event has been held at the Hungaroring, Budapest since the 2012 World Sport Series season. It is the oldest event on the 2014 calender having been the first ever event to be held in the series (being the first event of the 2012 calender). In 2013, the event lost its place as the first event of the season to the new Austrian Sport Series.
