Tuomas made his début in [[GPVWC]] in the [[Challenge Spanish Grand Prix]] 2012. He surprisingly took the 2nd place in the qualifying, showing his talent. In the feature race he took the race lead on the first lap when the pole-sitter [[David Gaspers]] flipped his car over. However the fun lasted only a couple of laps, when Tuomas lost the traction under braking, and quickly lost positions. After all the misfortunes he finally finished 10th.
