Vod:Bul Racing FC is an English Formula Challenge team set to make its début in the 2013 Formula Challenge season. It was the first of two Vod:Bul teams announced to compete in the GPVWC in 2013 (the other team being in the GT series) and marked a return for the name, and its owner Mike Pitman, after an absence of several years.
History
2013
Vod:Bul marked its return to GPVWC by signing up former Woods Racing Superleague and Supercup driver, Dan Rusu, to be the team's lead driver. Doug Hilliard, who had been a Vod:Bul regular in the HOWC leagues, was signed as the team's reserve driver, and was responsible for the team's livery. Vod:Bul owner Mike Pitman also announced that former driver and manager Juha Tanskanen had been brought in to run driver development for the team.
The team unveiled its car for the first time on the day of the official pre-season test session at Jerez, with Hilliard assuming driving duties for the test.
With just over a week remaining before the first round, Vod:Bul brought to an end much speculation about the identity of its second driver by announcing that it had signed former two-time Superleague Driver's Champion Mikko Jakonen to drive with the team.
