Royal Blue Racing is an English GPVWC constructor owned by Matthew Clipp .
Royal Blue Racing secured entry into the GPVWC 2012 World Sports Series and finished 4th in the constructors championship with drivers Marek Skrajnowski and Morten Wernersen .
The team secured its first entry into the GPVWC career ladder taking part in the 2013 Formula Challenge series. The drivers were team owner Matthew Clipp and newcomer Paul Joseph . The team had an outstanding debut season and finished in 5th position in the teams championship scoring 358 points. The team declined promotion to the Supercup for the following season to have a second attempt at winning the Formula Challenge title.
In 2014 they continued their great form from the previous year, however, all of Matthew Clipp early season points were taken away after he had technical difficulties. Unable to solve the issues and disillusioned with the league, team driver and owner Matthew Clipp stepped down from racing and the teams form suffered heavily. A few rounds later Paul Joseph stepped away from racing aswell. Two new drivers Florian Engel and Benediktas Sinkevicius filled the seats for the rest of the campaign. The team withdrew from the career ladder and Matthew Clipp would not be seen in racing for nearly 3 years.
