The American GT Cup is an event that was first held during the 2012 Winter GT Series season at Daytona International Speedway, Daytona Beach. Despite the change in track however, the American GT Cup had retained its status as the Series' season closer. For the 2015 season, the event returned, featuring another change of venue; this time to the Circuit of the Americas, Austin. As the World GT series is revived on the rFactor 2 platform, the American GT Cup retains it's positions as the season finale.
