Roy Verzijl is a Dutch gamer & simracing driver currently driving for Zedderick Racing as a racedriver in the GPVWC 2014 Formula Challenge season.

Early Sim-Racing Career

Before joining GPVWC, Roy raced in some other leagues.

His online racing career started at the Benelux Online Racing(BOR) in 2007 as a testdriver. Not long after that he joined Funracing Benelux 2007, he started his racingcareer there and he showed good pace for a rookie driver . After a short period he started with some friends European Racing league (ERL) in 2009 the new league started with using a new game Rfactor Roy proved to be one of the faster guys on the track, he enjoyed this period of racing and had many victory's. In 2011 the ERL league would merge with another new league called Simracing For Europe, ERL and SFE changed the name of the league to World Championship Simracing league (WCS) this league was one of the biggest Dutch leagues of it's time and it was not only for dutchies also for everyone who wanted to race. after 3 great years WCS was stopped and Roy Verzijl wanted to retire, luckily some simracing friends did want to see him use all his talent at a other new league GPVWC

Formula Challenge

2014

Roy made his debut at GPVWC in Formula Challenge at the Australian Grand Prix. He was driving for Zedderick Racing of teamowner Douglas Hilliard. He qualified as 10th for his first ever race. he had some badluck at his first races, however in time he scored more and more points.
