The MDR Academy (MDRA) is a simracing Academy Programme which acts as an agency for drivers to locate their desired racing series/roles, as well as assisting teams to run a stable and secure driver roster during a championship season.

About the academy

The MDR Academy (MDRA) was setup in December 2018 by MDR team founders Jack Mayor and Josh Downard. It acts as an agency to allow drivers of all skill-levels find a racing opportunity that suits their skills and requirements.

MDRA also works with various teams, allowing them to provide the academy with the power to control at least one of the team's seats, giving MDRA the choice to put any one of the academy drivers in the chosen seat. This is to provide a more secure line-up for teams, guaranteeing them to run all their cars at all of the races during a season. If an Academy drivers does need to leave their position in an MDRA affiliated team, this relieves the pressure from the team management, leaving it up to the Academy to fill the slot with another driver from the MDRA driver roster.
