Morten Wernersen is a Danish driver in the GPVWC and Manager of Viking Racing

2012 season WSS and Supercup

He first featured in the 2012 World Sport Series driving for Royal Blue. And later in 2012 signed with Green Stripes Racing in Supercup, initially on a reserve driver contract, but went on to do the majority of the remaining races from the Canadian GP onwards, although was lended out for one race to Innervision for the Turkish GP, Wernersen ended the season in 18th place in the drivers championship, scoring 18points during the season, the sole points scorer for Green Stripes that season in Supercup

2013 season Supercup and Superleague

2013 was to be Wernersen's first full Supercup season, but the season got of to a bad start with the doubt if he would even be on the grid for the first race, when the team he was to drive for had failed to pay for it's team license and was kicked out before the season started, this ment that Wernersen had no seat with less that a week before the first race, it was briefly discussed with the admins weather Wernersen would be willing to enter his own newly formed Viking Racing into the vacant team spot, but opted out of it, and the Vod:Bul team was chosen to move their team up from Formula Challenge with the option to pick up Wernersen into their team, wich they did, thus giving Wernersen a seat from the first round, the first half of the season went better that expected, already from the 3rd round in Austria he secured 5th place after driving up through the field in mixed wet/dry conditions, and 3 rounds later taking his first podium in Monaco with a 3rd place again in mixed wet/dry conditions, everything was looking good, but the 2nd half of the season was the complete opposite, in the last 8 races he only managed to score in 3 races after several driver errors and unlucky incidents, so the hopes of securing 4th in the drivers standings was not possible, but eventually had to settle for a, still respectable, 7th with 93 points.

Wernersen won "The most improved driver" award at GPVWC Day at the end of the season.

Wernersen was also test/reserve driver for ST Racing and made his Superleague Debut at the Malasian GP he also drove the the Spanish GP the Korean GP and the U.S. GP for the team, but did not score any points, but came close in the U.S.GP if it hadent been for a 10sek. stop/go penalty

2014 season Superleague

2014 was Morten Wernersen's first full Superleague season, he had stayed on with Vod:Bul as they got promoted up from Supercup, and was partnered by Kenney Lybeer, Wernersen enjoyed a solid season scoring points in 11 out of the 17 rounds, best finishes was two 7th places in Bahrain and Germany, witch saw him secure 13th place in the drivers championship with 62 points, and helping Vod:Bul to 6th in the constructors Championship!

2015 back to Supercup

In 2015 Wernersen decided to move back down to Supercup, driving for Enterprise GP
