Optimum Motorsport was founded on 23rd December 2011 in preperation for a 24Hr Endurance Race. There was only 3 members at first, Jonatan Acerclinth, Jonathan Motteram and Bradley Vanian. All 3 drivers had interests in touring car racing aswell as Endurance Racing so the team entered into many Touring Car Leagues. In doing so, the team expanded. As the team grew bigger, the commitment increased. Recently, the team has had some great results in the world's biggest Touring Car Leagues aswell as a large amount of publicity around the SimRacing Community.

In August 2012, the team ventured into Open Wheel racing by applying for the GPVWC 2012 Formula Challenge.

Optimum Motorsport is an English GPVWC constructor who have secured entry in the the 2012 Formula Challenge season.

Optimum Motorsport was founded on 23rd December 2011 in preperation for a 24Hr Endurance Race. There was only 3 members at first, Jonatan Acerclinth, Jonathan Motteram and Bradley Vanian. All 3 drivers had interests in touring car racing aswell as Endurance Racing so the team entered into many Touring Car Leagues. In doing so, the team expanded.
