David Cummings been called up from the test team into the race team to take part in his debut Grand Prix here in Austria.
David was available via the phone prior to the Grand Prix:
"Yeah I am really excited and nervous and somewhat shaking at the thought of lining the car up on the grid against the likes of Whiteman and others. Its going to be very hard for me to complete the full race distance having never done more than 10 laps in testing so my health will be a factor and i will be looking at completeing the race distance and keeping out of scotts way! I will certainly be speaking to the other drivers whom have more experience than me to see if i can get some pointers out of them for the way to race and stuff."
The car David will be driving will be a hybrid PMA-01A with the new rear end of the PMA-01B bolted on, we are hoping to use the race as an extended test session for the car and for David.
David certainly likes this track and has gone well here in the wet but David has somewhat struggled with the PMA-01A so hopefully the changes that we have made to his car will help the balance of the car for him.
