After 3 rounds of F1VWC FinOz Racing is holding 3rd place at drivers championship and in constructors championship.

FinOz Racing team manager Kari Koski after Austrian GP:

?We were hoping to get into top-6 on constructors championship and expecting podium finishes and top-4 qualifying positions at later part of the season. Steve scored teams first podium at its 2nd race and at Austria our cars were on 2nd and 3rd on the grid. It?s been superb start for the season so far and without one technical misfortune at Sepang we would have 4-5 points more, but we are very very very happy with the results so far. Of course getting such great results early on the season builds ups the expectations for the later part of the season, now we have to think we are able for getting pole position and also win a race. We know we can?t beat Scott Whiteman at the moment, he is just flying, also Jakonen and Loukasmaki are very strong at the race. Now with Ryong back behind the wheel, it?s getting very exiting at the top. Few teams and drivers are missing from their level, or at least the level I was expecting they to do, so if they get their act together it will be even harder into the points. ?

Steve Elencevski?s comments from Austrian race:

"A slightly disappointing result, but we came away with 9 points & remain 3rd in the constructor's & 3rd for myself in the driver's standings.

My strategy was hampered by backmarker's, whom i started lapping after just 10 laps & I really couldn?t push when the car was lighter on fuel, therefore losing time. We felt that a 3 stop strategy was marginally quicker than a 2 stopper, although it seemed the latter was the way to go.

We are still learning things at every race & we hope to bounce back at Imola."

Kari Koski?s comments from his race:

?Finally getting some points for the team and myself, 5th place&ldots;mmmm, okay could been better, but it?s ok I think. I lost a lot of time due backmarker?s and just couldn?t get the maximum out of the car today, it just wasn?t my race. I?m now focusing to Imola were I hope I can do well, it?s very hard to say it?s that track how suitable for our car, but I really hope so. After Imola there can be few races which isn?t so strong for me, but we will see.?
